MIK Capital operates within the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) model — a disciplined approach to building wealth by acquiring and operating existing small businesses rather than starting from scratch. Our seed capital is generated through active commodity CFD trading, funding a long-term acquisition pipeline.
Leadership
Michael O. founded MIK Capital Inc. in 2025 with a clear and unconventional vision: to apply the principles of private equity to the acquisition of small businesses at a scale accessible to the individual operator.
Drawing on experience in commodity CFD trading, Michael identified an opportunity to systematically convert active trading profits into long-term, cash-flowing business assets. This approach, known in the investment community as Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), forms the intellectual and strategic core of MIK Capital.
The firm is currently in its foundational phase. Michael operates with a lean structure, leveraging AI-augmented research, analysis, and operations in lieu of a traditional team, a modern approach to building a capital platform with institutional discipline at a personal scale.
The long-term vision is to grow MIK Capital into a multi-person acquisition firm, with dedicated teams across deal sourcing, portfolio management, and operations.
